Cognitive Decline disease is a neurological condition afflicting millions around the world. The root cause of this disease is a small region in the brain, called the “Substantia Nigra”. The neurons of the substantia Nigra use the brain chemical dopamine. With the loss or deterioration of dopamine, tremors begin and movement slows and the severity of muscle control and balance increases over a period of time. The scientific community is working hard to find a permanent cure but unfortunately, despite current drug therapies, it remains a progressive and incurable condition.
